Yeah its got standard shocks all round, the rear shock hats were extended which is giving me a pretty good ride... was bottoming out on the bump stops before.
Front has 1 coil cut off, rear were some yellow springs out of an EA that looked standard height but had heaps more coils than my original springs so I cut 2 coils off which has given me the exact height I want.
The ride isn't bouncy like most cars I've seen with chopped springs, I'm thinking maybe because I have about 90% (11 coils out of 12 i think it was on front, 8 coils out of 10 on the back) of my spring left unlike a subaru where they only have like 4 coils, you cut a coil off and you have 75% of the spring left and they keep bouncing when they hit bumps.... my car actually handles alright, just slightly stiff and a bit rough... but not bouncy.
Also, the diff / tail shaft doesn't hit my car at the moment... well the tail shaft rubs but I can't really tell when it does it, its only very light rubbing... I know this is a problem in most lowered falcons, but its hard to imagine the diff would be able to hit the car with standard shock hats on my car though so I'm not sure why its not hitting already, its about as low as it would go with standard shock hats... could maybe go 1cm lower I reckon and be compressing the rear bump stops. Anyone got any ideas why mine doesn't hit?
