Top Gear Live Festival - Melbourne

Postby SNR » March 13th, 2011, 12:09 pm

Below are some of the photos (and a link to the full set) I took at Top Gear Live's Festival in Melbourne.

I went fairly lightweight (just 35mm and 400D) so was fairly restricted in terms of focal length, high ISO etc. Think I still captured enough of what I wanted though.

Had a mint day there today. Arrived about 9:30. show at 11 then saw a bit more action before the heavens opened.
Live show was alright. Wasn't too sure what to expect. Car football was good. Needed more hoops cut by local manufactured product tho.

I went on saturday - awesome weather

Yeh live show was good, came off fairly scripted and they lent on the stereotype that all aussies drive utes a bit hard. It works fine in england where they dont know but not so well here. I dont think there was even one ute on display in the whole festival minus one promotional stock ve holden and the ones used in the live show.

Not a fan of all the anime though? What was all that about???

Yeah it was fairly scripted and some of the acts dragged on a bit. But they have to fill up 1.5 hrs somehow. I missed half of Jeremys jokes. He's quite hard to understand live in a massive tent.
