Custom Bonnet...

Postby Damo » September 4th, 2007, 3:58 pm

got bored and went a bit nuts with the angle grinder this afternoon.

It's not quite finished yet, needs a bit of bog and some sanding and to add the flutes back on, but should look good once it's done.

If there is enough interest, I will look at making some more.

Cheers,

Damo

Top work homad. Needs Monaro nostrils to complete it, in place of the cat scratches ;)

the good thing about this design is it's a '4 piece' bonnet. It fits perfectly in a VS commodore along with my 'modified' 7 piece front bar, and there's still plenty of room for the esky. :)

I'll take 2, my mate down the road wants one. Any chance of getting them made out of fibreglass?

It was a hypothetical mate down the road - everytime someone on AFF had bullshit ideas like custom bonnets everyone wanted one and "one for a mate" but it will be a while till he has the cash.

Besides Joe, we know who your friends are. ;)
