high idle speed

hi guys/ ive put an t5 in my EF and it idles at 1300 revs. Its a stock engine with pod filter and opt 20 police ECU. when it had the auto idle speed was 750, can anybody tell me how to fix this ,I believe its a common problem, thanks ernie

or manual ecu, but you still have to fix a couple wires for reverse lights, themo fans etc. as above doco

Mine did the same thing when I did the manual conversion. After about 50 start up's it should settle down.
Sounds strange....but that's what mine has done.

yes iam still running auto ecu,i will check out doco. in the meantime ive put in a blank gasket on the base of isc and reconected wiring and set idle on throttle body, seams to work fine thanks for the help

you need to wire it up as per doco, to keep the thermo fans from running all the time, and for reverse lights. Plus the car will generally run better as it doesnt think its in gear all the time

try unplugging the ISC or actually adjusting your idle speed at the throttle body butterfly
