Went to Autobarn Frankston today and the bloke noticed my EBGLT hat that I had on and asked if I was apart of the club obviously I said yes and he said im entitled to a 10% discount. So was the bloke just being nice or is this a general thing that happens to everyone when your apart of the club?

Should find out more about the Autobarn thing, maybe get other stores involved and set them up as a sponsor? Might get free/cheap stuff for advertising them on here, at shows etc?

Currently we don't need financial backing.
We allow people like CVE/Snort to keep us upto date with their developments.
if we suddenly start accepting sponsors then we need to be stricter on allowing others to push their products.

i don't want to be stopping people from voicing their experiences/opinions on relevant workshops/products simply because one of their compeditors is paying us to advertise them.
