when you wanna send something to someone what courior service is cheap but good?

I know its pretty obvious but have you tried australia post? They actually send most shit quickly and efficiently and unless your sending something really really heavy or large like a motor/gearbox/diff then they are usually the best option. I sent some 18" wheels to a bloke in canberra from melbourne and it cost me $25 a rim registered and insured and got there within 2 days. Most couriers quoted me $150+

Couriers are good if its within 100kms. As its same day service interstate though I would try AusPost.
