i went and saw this today.

the damage is alot worse that the photos show. the guy told me the driver left it in neutral on the side of the highway, didnt put the handbrake on and it rolled into a ditch. spewin.

i overheard one of the guys that works there bragging to someone else saying 'it cost more to get the car here than the car itself cost'. and yeah, $1650 for the EL GT brakes, $600 for the steering wheel. million% profit margin. some of us melbourne members should have put in for it and brought it :D

We seen the car at the auctions and go outbid on it by FTG. It had sprint manifold and Bigger MAF and I think it was missing the original steering wheel.

It had a standard manifold on it, and no MAF when they had it up for sale. IIRC.

The guy that owns FTG is a due anyway, I remember a thread on how he got a speeding ticket on a cruise down the princes from Geelong Melbourne bound. He even got the photo from the camera and all and still said he wasn't speeding.

Does anyone who owns anything pre-BA buy anything there? He wants top dollar for everything he gets in. Hes got a good job though, throwing FPV shit into lower spec cars would be quiet fun :)

I don't even see how that is meant to support your claim of him being a 'due', let alone what the fukk a 'due' is.

So for sale was a complete Sprint, but with a HO manifold, no steering wheel (which wasn't on there to begin with), and no MAF?

How dastardly!

Shit, get another manifold from the states for <$500, or keep an eye out locally. There's the manifold replaced. Same deal with the maf but for less cash.

Steering wheels pop up on ebay or cars being parted out...

And there's your complete sprint back again :)
