Spewing Steve. Looks like a decent hit. As others said glad you're ok, and at least it wasn't NWOLB.

Another E-series bites the dust :( Bummer.

It is good to hear you are ok (since I suppose it isn't written into your will that I will receive custody of NWOLB in the event of your untimely demise :? ) side impacts are pretty easy to die from, lucky yours wasn't a big hit.

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

Damn that sucks dude! Sorry to see the old girl go

Glad that you're ok though!

You gotta be careful when people wave you in, Chantal wrote off her work's Ford Focus the same way earlier this year when someone waved her in and she absent-mindedly just went and then got cleaned up by another car.

We got it towed back last night to Alex's, all up including storage and the initial tow from the accident site to the depot, the bill was about $550 :(

Re: R.I.P. The Green Machine 1994-2009

Postby The Goodz » February 28th, 2009, 10:51 pm

It was a shame to see this car bite the dust... But it will live on, parts of it will be going into my Fairmont, and some other bits will hopefully be sold off... And Steve has made a suggestion to me which I am going to go ahead with, the arse end of it will be turned into a mini-me trailer for the Fairmont. It's going to be some time before its finished due to lack of money, but the cutting/welding will happen fairly soon. I'll post pics of the progress as it happens.

I'm selling some stuff off it if anyone is interested, I'm keeping the engine, diff, interior, electricals, rear bumper and doors (and the shell obviously). Everything else is up for grabs.

PM me if you want anything. Some items left over are drivers headlight with clear indicator, full set of superlow springs, ED Ghia taillights and garnish, ABS module, and other miscellaneous bits and pieces like tow kit, coolant bottle, etc.

Nah didn't take too long, less than a day worth of work to get the engine/trans out and grind off the front end all by myself... Helps having a comprehensive tool kit :)
