need help wif converting my eb xr8 to manual

hey ppl, i need help, i need to find the parts to convert my eb xr8 to manual, i need a eb xr8 manual ecu and gearbox, the rest will be a bit easier to find, plz help me find these parts driving a auto is boring and i dont got the heart to get rid of my baby and buy a manual one

Hey mate

Firstly you dont need a manual ECU, there is actually no manual ECU for V8's before AU, you just unplug the auto computer on the side of the pedal box when you change the pedal box over.

Most parts can be sourced new, but i highly suggest buying a kit form second hand off ebay. EF EL manual conversions will fit bar the pedal box and shifter surround. But they are easy to source, just get yourself a manual pedal box from a wrecker.

My LTD went into limp mode when I went ECU as the engine ECU recieves codes from the auto ECU.

yeah my au is in limp mode but still drives fine but just has the fans on all the time.
which isnt really a problem i dont recon.

I just unplugged the auto computer in my eb and it ran fine

what did it do in limp mode?
