The rims look terrible on it :(

I used to love seeing the PYROAY/PYROLY punting around town. Hopefully it comes back to Victoria :D

Again with "Australia's most powerful E series" too. Dont these kents know how to use the internet? Im certain Ive seen other E series make more than 300rwkw in person.

I think it made 460rwkw once. I do get what you mean though. A few eseries putting around have made more then that aswell.

I have had the pleasure of a passenger seat drive in that car and let me say its worth every penny. If I had $33,000 in the bank I would probably look at buying it (and killing myself in the process) the sound system is simply awesome and the power and torque it produces is amazing. The thing that sets this apart from other boosted-eseries is the detail and finish that has gone into it. Aaron is someone who doesn't **** around doing things half-assed and it shows in the car.

$33k for a 600hp, fully engineered turbo eseries is cheap I think. Add in the sound system and its definately a bargain.

Sounds expensive but I know that a few people in Vic have probly spent that much on doing up their e-series. If I was going to spend that much on an e-series I think I would rather do a complete make over on my car and do it how I want it though.

in those pictures it looks terrible..

I remember the first time i seen this thing was on the way to AFD a few years ago and it was towing a trailer i was in love with it before even knowing about the turbo etc.
The car was perfection and it did it well too its just sad to see something iconic like that end up looking like a heap of shit as it does in those photos :(

I don't know much about the technical side of things so Im not going to go into stuff like why he didn't make as much power, etc. I assumed it was engineered because it comes with a RWC, doesn't the turbo need to be engineered to get a vic RWC?

I have been in a VP SS that runs 12.9, I have been in a BA 'phoon and also an 11sec mazda RX-3. The RX-3 felt more break neck but I still didn't feel my cheeks getting pushed back like in PYROAY.

The level of detail is stuff like having part of the front speaker stage mounted in 6mm steel enclosures welded under the body, woodgrain trims painted in chameleon paint, etc. I won't go into the technical side because I have no fuckin clue about that side of things but If you had met Aaron you would know what I mean. He spent about 4 days installing his alarm because he wanted it well hidden. Aaron installed my audio system and spent 2 days on it even though he wasn't charging me and hadn't met me before. Every little detail on the car was done to perfection and every little problem was fixed. The car looks no where near as clean as it was in Aarons possession but I still think its worth every penny.

It didn't say it came with RWC, it said it still has rego.

Also, $33,000 for something that's gonna cost a bit more to get engineered in Vic and by the end of it all you still could have problems. Don't get me wrong if you're loaded and can afford to have a car that you can take to shows and cruise in a few times a year that's good. But the way that thing stands out, you're better off owning a pushbike I reckon.

That's my 2 cents,

the add actually says it comes with a RWC.
I know there was discussion about Aaron getting it engineered, no idea if that ended up happening though.

If I had the money, id probably buy it, its an awesome machine. But saying that, if I had the money, im sure I could spend that on making the my EL into something special.
Not a fan of the wheels either, I love them on other cars, but that one really needs some big deep dish billet rims to match the top dollar paint, etc. Although ti did look its best with the ELGT's.

I agree with the wheels. Shitty cheap copies on a car like that. This was built for reliability. He drove this car towing a trailer from traralgon to adelaide on 6mths ago and it was a daily driver regularly towing trailers so its definately reliable.

Yeh I see what you mean. Must be something beneath the surface.

About the Australias best sounding car audio system

The car is the reigning 2007 Car Audio Australia SQ Champion so I guess its in parts true.

imo the rims look way better than the quakes, they suit e- series very well.

the car was never dynoed in wa.

he was having a fu problems with it, and i gess it was just to much for him.

he expected it to be a very day car when first buying it.

imo u would never buy a car like that anyway.

If I was gonna spend 30k on a car I could think of better cars to buy. Sure its good but you grow tired of looking at it pretty quickly, that paint is so Autosalon 2001.....and it's still an EL. I'd rather buy a newer low K XR6t.

I have to say, I hate chameleon paint reminds me of try-hard VT owners! Would rather that in Rapid Yellow or Black!
It's unfortunate a guy spends so much time and money to make it the "MECCA of E-Series" (Quote from AFF)
then people bring it down on what is really a cheap price.
At the end of the day if your passionate about E-Series then you would consider that a bargain, if not then your here for the short-term and u'll move onto the BF when u can afford it!

I don't think you'd ever get it engineered.
Wait till it gets cheaper, someone buy it and wreck it for the driveline, thats the most E-Series thing to do.

Surely he's crazy if he spent over $100,000 on it and never got it engineered!
If I had that sort of cash to splash on my car, i'd get it engineered.
The big selling point would be that people in states other than Vic could prob get it engineered cheap, but then whats a few grand to get a car like this engineered?
