Car not driven for a fair while, Sticky Throttle

Hey guys, just took MADEL out for a run. Its been in the garage and hasnt been driven in many many months.

I noticed when started the car up the accelerator pedal was stuck, so i pushed it and it ended up coming unstuck and can move around.

But on that drive it was hard to push down from a standing start, and when you would take your foot off the accelerator and back on it would require a bit of force before moving, making the car jump.

Any ideas?

throttle body might be a bit gummed up?
whip it off and give it a clean up? or at the least d/c the cable and see if the same stiffness can be felt actuating the throttle by hand to eliminate the cable as the cause of the problem.
there is some bullshit sticker on the AU TBs saying they shouldn't be cleaned though, i question that, doesn't make much sense to me.

actually as soon as I put the blower on mine it started this, and dave/el xr8s car does it as well, probably a different cause, but still i would not recommend supercharging it to solve this problem

haha it might just be that it wants you to take it to the track or on a long straight road where the foot doesnt come off the pedal. have a good one
