eb sxr8 btr band

Postby intensemdg » December 15th, 2009, 1:58 pm

hi guy i have a '92' eb sxr8 and one of my band in the btr has snapped (2nd to 4th) i got quoted today $600 for the job including removal, band replacement, new clutch and rear seal and then installation once done...just wanted to know if this was a good price and is it worth saving $150 to remove the auto myself (then i'll have to instal it myself or get the car towed) ideas would be helpful..

If you dont have a hoist I would pay someone the $150 + towing.

Ive done it at home on the garage floor and I wouldnt do it again.
