Decent Detailing in Northern Suburbs

Postby ClassicAU » January 4th, 2010, 9:20 am

Yes, I did a search, but came up with squat, though I am happy to be corrected if I fail at searching. Anyway, need to get my car detailed sometime this week before friday, as its being used in my best mates wedding (yes, lame I know, but long story). Does anyone know of a place that would be open after work, say 6ish, this week that isn't going to rip me off? Not looking for a show finish, just a nice going over in and out. I would do it myself but have limited time and I broke myself on nye.

I use Blue Bubbles on Coonans Road in West Brunswick/Coburg. They do a reasonable job for your average car.

A full cut and polish, interior and boot steam clean and engine bay clean is $150.

im not having a go at your car at all, but for the price of a decent detail, you could just go and hire a nice late model car for the day... or put the word around a few forums, someone with a nice car will do it for the price of fuel and beers or something.

Thanks heaps Justin, I think I know the place. Just near the shops there at the bottom of the hill right? I think its a converted servo.

Nah mate, thats cool, I actually agree! It’s just an EL, but the only reason we are using it is because the colour just happens to match the wedding theme or something! :? You are right though, $150 is a bit rich, I just need it cleaned nice after the camping trip I went on this weekend, its filthy! I’ll probably just go see those guys Justin suggested and see if they have a cheaper option available.

Yeah that's the one. Daniel just corrected me, it was $130. They do have cheaper options - they're regular in, out, dry and tyre shine is $20 and they do a decent job.

Sick, thanks man, I'll just get a good clean done then, should still come up alright. Only thing left now is to get some of those white ribon things for the front! :P

If you want to get the job done properly go see Final Inspection in Cambellfield. I've got good authority that they are the best in melbourne. Obviously comes with a decent price tag as well.
