where to get au engine

not sure if in the right place. its not really a wanted parts sort of thing.

just wondering where everyone gets their low km au engines from and how much? also what sort of warranty do they give.
ftg only had them for $1000 and i dont want to pay that much
im in geelong but i dont mind driving to melbourne for it if i have to.

any info would be good. thanks.

There's already a thread on this, but it didn't get many replies lol. I think Deer Park wreckers is where Pat and Tristan and Spell got their AU motors. You could give Just Falcons a try too, but they are in Kilsyth so a fair hike from G town.

i got a 130,000k el motor off ebay for $400 from autojap in east keilor, they had 1 or 2 au engines go for $500 as well
