cost of replacing engine

hey again,, Im thinking of getting a engine through a wrecker for $440.00 for my EF, how much should it cost to do the replacement? on average??should i be buying somthing from a wrecker,, or any other ideas for a qiuck fit as i want to use all the same wireing?

i just did a swap in my el, engine cost $570, 6mnth warranty. do it yourself, $400, someone else $800, though if you do it yourself you can also make sure it's done correctly and cleanly :P

If you keep torque converter in, so the seal is not broken..
You should replace oil, filter..
There should be no other costs ?? Unless there was something needing maintenance that
you didn't know about.. Like engine mounts ...
A few hose clamps, new ignition wires and coolant ??

he he yeah the TC, kinda pulled mine off trying to separate the gear box from the block, through the seal is only like $18 to replace, not too easy to put it in though.... took me to tries to get it right :( and the bastard things are one way :(
