The rice-or-madknt mod thread.

The flanges with cover plates bolted on them look like a good thing for at the drags, but what about if you only want your exhaust fully open when you have it at WOT? Perfect for 5.0 owners wanting to at least have SOMETHING to brag about when duelling with LS1s on the Western Ring Road, or for perforating the eardums of the poor knt taking your drive-thru order at Baysie Maccas after you've ordered large fries & they ask if you want fries with that?

So, what's the general concensus of E-Series members on these electrically-operated exhaust cutouts? Rice or madknt?

I'd get one.

I'd put it behind the 2nd muffler in front of a quiet tailpipe and dump it when racing.

I hate loud cars.

Dave isn't considering, I just thought I'd see what responses I'd get :P

Plus Damo with your homo tendencies I thought you would've been all over this like bukkake on an unsuspecting Japanese candid camera victim

After running dumper on my 351 i must say some sort of sound control for when going through booze buses and trying to sneak through a block of flats would have been good, ala remote controlled flange to shut it up a bit

'Sif not use a couple of boost-referenced ebay wastegates up near the cat, with really light springs in them - that way they stay shut most of the time but then as you build boost they open up and start shooting flames :)

(And a screamer pipe as well, of course)

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.
