EF Wagon question

Postby efwagon4eva » November 24th, 2007, 7:05 am

Hey all i'm brand new to the forum and i own a 94 EF wagon. Just a quick question some crazy random stole one of the back panels that goes down the side of the wagon door. I went to the wreckers, got a new one and the guy said to just stikaflex it in and she'll be right, went on a highway drive and lost it within an hour or two  Before i go n get anutha one does anyone have some advice as to just how i get it to stay there? The screws (not sure what they were by the time i got to them there were destroyed) that held the other side on to the stikaflex are all gone, i tried to glue it even  and it still came off. This is the last bit i got to get done to make sure she's lookin up to scratch again so any advice would be awesome.

Welcome to the forums!

I can answer this one... I glued the side moldings back on to one of my car years ago and I used vinyl flooring glue. It was in a tin, it was very thick and it looked like caramel. It will pretty much glue anything to anything. In fact after using this stuff the paint will probably come off with the molding if you tried to take it off again. You should be able to get it at any hardware.
