hot weather and LPG.....

Postby elghia » November 23rd, 2007, 10:57 am

ever since it started getting warmer in the mornings my el has been stating really rough on gas and unless i give it a few revs it dies straight away. even then it wants to drop below 500rpm and shudders heaps.
now that its cooled down again it starts perfectly on gas. is this something to do with how its tuned? the type of gas system ive got? something not working?

Did Trick_xd tune your gas system?

If so, get it checked asap..if not, get it checked anyway :)

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. ive only had the car for a a few months now. and this is the first real problem ive had with it, the central locking plays up some times and the heater in the climate controll dosnt work (but thats not a problem for summer). its coming up to the 200k service so ill get them to take a look at it then.

Most people don't really ever get their gas system serviced, so odds are yours needs a tune if it's got 200k on it. Good luck with the other stuff :)
