Hey guys this may have been covered before but tried to do a search and resulted in nothing. Anyone know where to get it done and how much?

Yeah spoken to him this morning he had his done in SA trying to find something a little more local. Wondering if anyone knows of a place.

jet hot coating in castlemaine do it and they do a really good job.

if ud like i can take it up there for u as my wife is from bendigo but her brother in-law worked there a few years back and still goes there so ill just give it to him to take in when he goes and see's them.

Galapogus used a place in Coburg. Competition Coatings I Think.

yeah they sure do no how to charge but it is a good job.

Do a google search, heaps of vic based forums with answers to shit like this.

Competition Coatings did a top quality job, is close and cheaper than alternatives... more helpful on the phone too!

How'd you go with this Shaun? Did you get it done? Does it still look ok?

Much difference in heat?

How about you Jason? Is the coating on your extractors still good?

Didn't end up getting it done mate. I polished the manifold instead love the look of polished stuff when it heats up it's about 20different colours

My coating is holding up well. I haven't had the heat shield off in a few months, but I've been under the car a few times and it looks fine all the way down the longtubes. They do a higher temp black one for turbo manifolds, it costs more but withholds a lot more abuse. >1000C or something. Ring the bloke at Competition Coatings, he was great to deal with, much better prices, couldn't recommend him enough.
