Borrow Some Wheel Adapters?

Postby stevo » January 2nd, 2011, 4:44 pm

Hey guys, want to see if my AU wheels will fit on the EL, anyone have some hub adapters I can borrow for a few days?
As the rears are 9.5" i dont want to go and buy adapters just to find out the rears wont fit, so borrowing some to test fit will be easier.
Im in Pakenham, VIC

I've got 18x9 with 265's on the back of my EF.

the tyres scrubbed so i had to 'modify' the guards.

slightly narrower adapters would certainly help :P

yeah im running tiny 245s on mine, and it clears okish. but im getting mine machined down so i can go wider

actually, i think my rears are +40 too, so im not sure if that pushes them closer to the guards or further away

+40 wheels should help with guard clearance.

Ive got 255/30r19's on the back of my el with 35mm adaptors. They fit as long as you lip the guard.

can you fit 19s on the front with 245/35 tyres with superlows? just with the 35mm spacers?

I've got 20s with 235/35/20 on the front and the only clearance problem i have is with the upper strut arm ball joint mounts. I dont see a problem with 19s seeing as they are 1 inch smaller than mine. What offset wheels are you looking at?
Cheers

thats what im running, 245/35x19, but im using ultralows.

i think guard should be ok, but mine also rub on the inner guard, fixed it by removing a small section from the inner guard.

you can see the rub marks
on mine. maybe with superlows it may not be an issue?
