I give credit where its due and I'll give points for effort on Tony's part. It's actualy starting to look okay-ish. But I agree in a way. 13-20 is prime ass getting time, don't waste it. Theres plenty of time later on for car modding. Notice how dead my build thread is, Because I'm never at home. But you've taken criticism pretty well and atleast put an effort into your (Dad's) car. I'll save my congratulations for the finished product but as I can see it's getting there.

Oh yeah... Does anyone still have the PDF EA2BA made to install a BA shifter into an EA/B/D? I could really do with it as the one on here doesn't have any pictures anymore

Maybe ask on pertheseries.com for a copy of the PDF? I uploaded it there ages ago but lost my own copy.

Oh, I have a conversion kit for sale, just no instructions to go with it (and considering I did this & wrote the instructions years ago my memory's a bit hazy on this)

Let me know if you're interested in the conversion kit ;)

Just read the build thread on FF. I gotta say it's actualy looking pretty dece and I can start to visulise the end product. Keen to see some more updates as I'm doing a bit of moulding in my own interior. :drinks2: P.S way to show those people who doubted you, I'll admit I did a little at first.

Once I've finished hiding as much of the engine bay wiring/looms as possible in the EF which i have been doing over the past two days, then offloaded some of this stuff for more funds, then I will be able to commence finishing this off..

D4v3 - Still havent forgotten, just need to piss some of this stuff that i have forsale off before i can give ya the money for it due to lack of funds..

Tony,
First let me say that from what I can see this is not too bad of a job, and it might turn out alright, but I've gotta agree with sk8n6, I'm your age and this is basically what I'm doing, not changing over dashes and what not. And I can't believe you dont own a Playstation or XBox!!

Quiet you. Xbox bores me aswell, to each their own. Some people as kids were locked inside with their eyes glued to the telly yet i've been welding and fabricating since around the age of 10 and only went inside to eat, shit, piss and sleep. I think more teenagers should be doing something creative instead of f*cking all that moves, getting pissed and playing xbox.

naa... the EF is looking like this, as to why i havent had anytime to work on the AU:

Image

I have been re-spraying it a deep black, as to why the AU hasnt had any attention.... That is just before i re-taped up the windows, and dismantled everything again to do coats 4 and 5..

its still got to dry (bake in the sun), then go over it with 2000grit wet and dry, then polish it... if i have to, i will clearcoat it but i dont want a full gloss

oh yeah... both of you either STFU or GTFO

Umm, potential mess here.

If your using a Clear over base system, the base should just tack then apply the clear. If you have let it dry, then you will need to scuff it up. Do not polish it before putting on clear!.

If you don't want full gloss you'll need a "Matte" or "flattening" additive to the clear....
