3 speed to 4 speed

Hey all, what other parts would i need to change the gearbox from a 3 speed to 4 speed, Cheers

what other parts other than the other ones you already have?

I'll start. You'll need a transmission :)

probly just a 4th gear? :D

or just put the later gear selector panel into it.

You will need Transmission, TCM ( Trans Control Module) as the 4 speeds are an electronic box ( 3 speed are mechanical with a kickdown cable) ECU, Looms, Gear selector panel, custom cross member mount I think that's most of it. It's a lot of effort for not much gain.

Also to make the most of it you will probably need to replace the differential for one with shorter gears as yours probably has a 2.77:1 ratio.

You could try putting a single rail BW 4Speed gearbox in :D

also requires bashing of the floor pan to fit 4 speed in!
