Update on EDGHIA

Postby [chubbz] » December 21st, 2007, 10:49 am

Well i thought id post a little update on the car i have had it a few months now im really happy with the car so far bar a few issues. i have had issues with the clutch cable retainer falling off also the starter motor went on me and last week the clutch wich has been replaced with an excedy heavy duty. the back is to high for my likingins so soon it will be lowered to match the front. other then that the car is really good it goes well and is a nice car to drive so that all from me hopefully it will be at a cruise soon.

What springs are in it?
Your gonna need an angle grinder to get it back to where it used to be.
But good luck with it man, lotta bur... I mean memories with that car LOL

Yer im sure there was alot of bur...memories lol. The rear has king lows in it but im going to get them reset.
I also forgot to mention i changed the dash insert to standard ones wasnt a fan of the cobolt ones, also will be putting a standard steering wheel in so i can get cruise control back.
Here is some pics of how the car is atm still the same pretty much the back springs really need help as you can see lol.

Good move on the standard dash inserts and the steering wheel.
I may be parting out the car that got the majority of the EDGHIA bits so keep an eye out, you could grab all the woodgrain shit and the full leather interior back.
Back springs need choppy choppy action BAD.

Thanks for all your comment guys, regarding the steering wheel it still has the sports one but im on the hunt for a standard one. The car is being looked after just got home from a drive and there seems to be a sorta loud clunking noise comming from the drive line when the clutch grips not sure what it could be any ideas? I checked the unis and they had no play in them could it still be them? Was just looking at some old pics of edghia from when john had it, they really look awsome hopefully i can bring it back up to that levle no offense to glen the car was still great when i got it off him just want to lower the back again and hoipefully get some wheels any way if any one has any ideas about that noiuse post your thoughts

I think you need some tyre black to match the rims. Get some g spec springs and it will be set. Clutch isnt rooted is it?
