odo wont turn over

the odo on my xg has stoped working. does anyone think it could be that little gear inside it could be like worn or something. all other instruments work.
Ford xg ute - 5 speed - pasemaker extractors with 2.5 exhaust - el tickford head - bf xr6 wheels - very low

yeah it will be, best way to go is to get a new odo cog off ebay and fit it yourself, there easy as to do
