el front seats in an ed

Postby nxw990 » November 7th, 2011, 9:29 am

Hey guys,

Quick question I wanna know if el seats will fit in my ed,
I got told they need a spacer but what does that mean as I'm unsure?

Thanks,
Nate

3 of the 4 bolts will go in for the front seats.
but the Rear/Inner mount is different.
on an EF/EL Seat, its a flat mount (the floor humps up)
on an EA-ED the Seat has a leg on it (the floor is flatter)

You need a spacer or similar under that mount.

some bent up steel, piece of steel tube.

but it'd need to be reasonably strong.

Might be some safety or legal implications with the spacer?

Cut the mount off of the ED seats and weld it to the EL seats.
