DVD Decrypter & movie/music download site recommendations?

Postby private9 » January 28th, 2008, 8:35 pm

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone can reccomend a DVD decrypter that I can download? I did have AnyDVD which was really good, but it was only a trial version.

Also, just wondering what sites people are using for movies & music downloading? I did have an invite to demonoid, but I got that just as it shut down!

Thanks,

Justin.

i know of some of them that are alright... torrentreactor.com, torrentspy.com... ya could also use actual torrenting programs that use their own search engines and download straight into the program such as bittorrent or utorrent

I really enjoyed doing that when I first started using limewire.

Doesn't sound bad at all. What's the site?

I'm currently using DVD shrink and it is really good, but there are occasions where some of my DVD's can't be decoded. Having young kids, I really do need to back them up, as the originals always end up scratched to death!

When I can actually be bothered downloading a movie I use Mininova.org. Just read the comments to make sure u don't download one of those ones that you need a specific program to play it.

I use Azureus for as my client.
And for song, I google search: "song title - artist" +torrent

What format are trying to decode DVDs into?
I use DVD decrypter to put movies on my iPod and it works great for that

Majority of the decryption is to backup my DVDs - the kids tend to scratch the hell out of them, even though they're trying really hard not to! I just create copys of the originals, so then it doesn't matter. DVD shrink will do about 2/3 but there are some that dvd shrink can't decode.
