Novelty personalised plates.

Postby Commando » December 24th, 2011, 11:16 am

I've got a bike rack for the BF that has a number plate holder on it. I CBF constantly unscrewing my rear number plate & tying it on with hayband, driving with fingers crossed that it'll still be attached when I reach my destination.

I was wondering if anyone here (those of you who stick plates on your dash) had details & costs for having a plate made up.

Basically I just want my rego & VIC on a plain plate, be it std size or trailer size, whatever's cheaper, so that I can permanently fix it to the bike rack. Motorcycle plates won't do due to the 5 char limit.

elgoog gave me a few retailers but their plates didn't have VIC on them, just whatever text you wanted for your phaic rego.

Don't VicRoads supply them for free for the bike racks..? They are smaller than a std issue plate.
I know they used to supply plates for free for exempt trailers, I thought it was the same for the bike racks..??

Winner, I'll do it properly through VicRoads. I wasn't aware they did stuff other than vplates.

Cheers!

You should be able to order the legit plate online, and have it delivered within a week.
