long as they just arent fugly wheels, it will be mint. thing is there is hella flush then there is flush because race car style too etc... its hard to pick what would look good.

for me, i prefer like my soarer thats why i have done it how i have done it, low enough to sit nice, but the offsets suffer with how low it is, as it rubs hard and i need my lock. i could raise it and go 10.5 +12 and the wheels would sit out a bit more, but it would sit higher... i prefer how mine is fairly flush while still being nice and low...

Image
that angle makes it look like french fitment at the front, but there is like 2mm between tyre and guard at the top, so i cant get the wheels much more out, and they scub on the arches at full lock anyway.. if i raise it and go more camber could probly fit 10.5 with same tyre and +22...

i want to get more wheels tho, and see if i can get 17x10 or 17x11s all round

atm its 18x9.5 +22 all round with a 225/45r18 and 235/40r18 rear... the fronts are only that size cos i got the kumho ku36s 2nd hand off a mates mazda 3 mps, but when they are shagged ill be going a 235/40 or 225/40 which fits heaps better
Image
Image
here you can see the rim itself sits outside the wheel arch but the tyre stretch keeps the tyres in the guards

There's a black FG XR8 with FR simmons on FF that pulls of this look nice. I don't have the will power to set up Photobucket and get picks on here however..

and is still trying to sell the simmons i last saw.

have u thought of pumping the rear guards a bit bentls?

a mate of mine with a cefiro (chris is his name) just got one of those guard rollers like pete uses and kept winding it out and he fits 10.5 on the back in +17 (im pretty sure) he runs 225 or even 215's on them though haha.

i might try some of his wheels on my bf wagon haha.
cheers josh.
