What in the BEEP is this ?

Hey people i blew my clutch cable the other day and this morning i ventured under the car and the cable has broken that goes into the little plastic box on the side of the gearbox.. BUT what im wondering about is there is a gold ring in that box and nothing else .. What or more how to hell do i install my new clutch cable amd is there anything missing.. If photos are needed i can upload some

There should be a rubber round cylinder thing about 10cm long with a metal hook on the end, that goes where the hole is and the cable goes onto the hook.

sounds like it fell into the bell housing.............unless it fell out of the plastic box

You really need to find it first before you go starting the car again

The rubber round cylinder thing that needfordspeed is talking about is the same thing I told you to get a new one of whenever you get a new cable. Pretty sure it wouldn't have fallen into the box, more likely onto the road and is now gone.
