Budget is a factor otherwise i would have bought another set of Yokohamas that I have now (fantastic all round except a little noisy) But at $222 per 16" tyre im forced to look at other brands.
Forget the Xenons then. I had some light rain on the way home from work today, and was getting wheelspin everywhere. I was slipping the clutch in first gear, with stuff all throttle, and still skating sideways... Great for a hoon, but not so great for me!

Have a look into the Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval; made in Australia by Bridgestone.
I had them on a previous car and they were quite stable in wet and dry. Can't remember how much I paid but it wasn't excessive. I'll be getting another set once I wear out the Xenons.
