Doug aka Sphell's old EF

hey guys, i dont think i ever met doug, but i remember the car...

anyway if anyone cares (some of the older guys might find this interesting)

thats the most recent pic of it at the moment, stormy (white xe drift car rego nausea) now is in possession of it, and is building it up into a drifter. when he got it, it had a fucked j3 blown head and auto i think, so alot of work to go, but it is meant to be finished by september for performance car mania...

Doug's EF? Pffft, that shit's still new-skool. FLYRYD in red with black molds was old school.

yeah a guy named dale bought it off doug for his brother who lives ages away dunno where exactly tho... and dale still own it i think and is co drifting it with stormy..

bit home and away spec so im not 100% on the details lol

Last time I saw it was probably late 2008. The guy who bought it was from Queensland somewhere. I was there when Doug sold it, we were both asked him 100 times if he was sure that he wanted to drive it that far lol. Haven't heard anything since.

I was there when he bought it too. Was a Felony special complete with ED XR wheels, multi-coloured panels and I think missing indicator on the front.

Ahh the good old days.

It was turbo when Doug had it, should still be unless they took the kit off.

Its still turbo has a cracked manifold tho
Still has orig Vic plates guess old mate in qld sold it on :grin:

Both (or all 3 if you count a colour change as being as good as a new car) of Doug's cars were rad. I have OG pics of FLYRYD from the E-Series meet at Albert Park... Simon's EA in there too. I also have pics of FLYRYD reborn from Shep.

Haven't seen him in hears, hope he's doing well!

I remember many a mass exodus in the peak of the Melbourne Cruise Scene from 04-07. Many funs.

Doug's doing good. He bought a brand new Kia Cerato back in 2010 lol. He's put some wheels on it and did a custom ICC with a Ipad.
