CarCapsule has arrived!

Postby Troutman » July 7th, 2012, 2:45 pm

No more bird crap or cat prints on my panther. The CarCapsule is an American product which is inflatable, using a fan to inhale fresh air inside on a regular basis. It prevents dust as well as protecting the car from pretty much everything. Pretty cool for anyone who has an infrequently-driven car.

Can you get something like this with flexible tent type frame? So you can drive in and out.

Cost is approx $400 plus postage, but the guy on eBay Aus is selling for closer to $1k. Shipping from Florida was over $300 but took just a few days. I was in a fit of rage over the latest bird poop bombing when I bit the bullet.

There is another product which is like an inflatable bouncing castle carport, though costs quite a bit more. I will try and find the name of it when I'm on my computer.

Cheers.

Found it, the competing product is called the Carcoon. They have a wide range of products. Ideal for a Coon spec E series.
