Lol even tho the rspec has 9inch wide rears, do you think its going to have decent tyres?? Yes it will have more grip than a stocker... but most likely not as much as one with good 'track' spec tyres. Launch control would hardly be needed if the car had traction.
Engine tune is the same... power output is the same but it has launch control added... I'd hardly call that changing the 'tune', more like refining traction control.

I'd rather have Ford enthusiasts be able to pick on some of the crappy stuff it has rather than being one eyed and saying its the best thing ever invented. (I do like the car btw, just not all the added red extra's!)

i think they went too far with the red the white one looks the best.

tone down the red and it would be perfect imho.

The pursuit doesnt get a suspension upgrade because it's hard to compare leave sprung rear axle to coil IRS as on the maloo

It doesn't get an upgrade, because its not an R-Spec.

Funny how people bag the falcon ute because of the leaves...but, it more then holds its own against the Holdens in the ute series...

And as an added bonus, you can actually use it as a ute...not a bogan coupe.

I'm not saying it's a disadvantage but its easier to 're-tune' coil IRS than leaf springs

So lower it and make it even more useless? Or fiddle with toe and camber, killing tyre life because 'it's got mad camber bro'?

Fuark they persist with those shit wheels!

If it's actually quicker/properly different tune/better suspension (most enthusiasts would probably turn T/C off anyway) then cool. If its just a dress up, then they've gotta dress them up better

The BF F6 R-Spec still gets me giggly, i'll wait to see if, on road, these have the same effect.

Another vote here for BF R Spec, best looking FPV to date - both the F6 and GT Cobra versions.

the gt cobra looks tough as on the fpv ads currently running on tv...

dunno about anyone else but when i first saw that ad i jumped straight onto carsales to see if prices had reached sane levels yet.

probably not what ford planned when making the ad but.

The VE doors will carry over (doors are the most costly part to re-engineer, hence major facelifts like EF and BA using carry over doors), but photoshopped 'artists impressions' seldom bear much resemblance to the real thing.
