i try to purchase other peoples projects where they have spent huge amounts of money to get all the parts i want and then steal the car for a great price when they run out of money and then i have all the bits i want.
mate theres lots of guys with shallow pockets and big dreams who can afford most of the hardware they (you) want then get so far and run into financial hassles... you buy the car get all the bits and learn from their mistakes. nothing worse than getting all the bits you want (for big $$$) and then finding that the combination doesnt work...
my 2 cents.

yeh that was the plan, but if you don't mind me asking, why an au bottom end? and what about the diff? and i was hoping to keep the car manual so i was looking at maybe a 6 speed t56 with a full hydraulic clutch conversion?
