Postby Adumb » March 2nd, 2008, 2:19 pm

Anyone had any good experiences with any of the ford dealer service departments in the western suburbs (of Melbourne)?
Seeing Harrison ford shut, sunford and whatever is in weribee/hoppers are closest, are they any good?

STAY AWAY FROM BINKS IN WEST FOOTSCRAY!!!!!!! I'm ashamed to admit they stung me well over $1000 for a BEM module etc etc. Next day car still didn't start. Finally worked out battery had no water!!! I hate them so much!!!

Binks and Duhig are no goes, Duhig left my old mans wheelnuts undone not once but twice.
And both have failed to tighten to turbo and exhaust manifold studs on his XR6T, he's had so many exhaust leaks from there its not funny.
Mines due for service now, I'm going to try Sunford in Sunbury, I'm hoping small town dealer might show a bit more care in its servicing.

The Ford dealer in Melton is good, I know one of the Mechanics there, and the one out in B/Marsh is good as well. Stay away from any of the big dealers. The smaller ones ride on reputation and can't afford for people not recomending them.
