wheels and tyres need help

hi all new here just got a xr6 wanting to make it loo alittle better and have a set of 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear what size tyres should i use. the front currently have 245/35 and they hit the suspension knuckle so what size should i go? and what spring size to lower it? thanks in advance

How Much is it hitting the Knuckle By? Cos you can always get 5mm to 10mm Spacers If it makes a difference. Just A Suggestion.

it has 245/35 tyres on front n it hits the knuckle bad

OK You could Probably Go 225/35 but maybe pushing it slightly with narrowness or Try 235/30 as it is a lower profile, But you really need to see how many mm it is rubbing the knuckle by so you can determine the tyre size and profile a bit better. Maybe just take it to a tyre place and let them suggest what size or how small or big you should go they should know, then you can take it from there. Also what Model XR6 Is it.?
