Did you get your car interest free?

Postby Malakai » April 3rd, 2008, 3:42 pm

From motor finance wizard, get set motor loans... etc!

I was thinking about the introduction forum today and realised that a lot of new members cars could easily have been acquired this way.

What do you think of getting a car from one of these businesses?

I payed full cash private seller

I'd never buy a used car from a car yard... They add 2k on anything and with all they're hidden junk

Mine was from a car yard, and although it was more than from a private seller, it was the best example of anywhere, so it was worth every dollar, including the $2000 interest.

Cash wins every time... unless your some young tight arse tuff nut wanna be mechanic in Sydney who sold us a worked red EF 5spd. Kent said yeh $3200... its immac condition.... get down there its missin studs, smashed windscreen, pwr window/mirrors dont work, bogged up rear qtr, no stereo surround.... After all that he knocked off $100. Major cock sucker.

/back on topic.
MFW copped a beating on ACA/60 mins whatever it was not long ago, dodgy bastards were selling people ratshit camrys/commos for $10k+. Then their ads played saying '*news show* proudly bought to you by MFW.' I loled.

Also paid cash, don't wanna put my self into debt over something that's gonna loose value no matter what. But i'll contradict myself here and say I probably would get a loan if it was a brand new car, like a G6ET or something.

This is a quick message frm the Mrs................who is normally just the quite one
Ok let me quickly explain why MFW is Intrest free loans, its because the price of the intrest is added to the sale price of the car, hence why a car thats worth $2000 you pay $5000 for  , the reason there is such high reposessions on their cars is because they give them to people they know have absolutly no way of paying them back, i know all of this to be a true fact as i got this info straight from one of the MFW Sales Persons, :) and lastly after walking thru one of their yards for curiosity seeing the state of some of their cars in their, one of which had been side swiped and they still had $8000 on it, was a EF, i don't understand how they can still trade and make money, but with saying that and being a single mother for 4 years (before i met Mr TezzaBear  ) with 3 kids whom did lots of outter school activities and having a bad credit rating from a darling ex i guess when they offer you things like they do and cover them with a nice polish & nice smile, you will do anything just so you can get your kids around, lucky for me i grew up around a Father whom was a mechanic and so i have enough knowledge to know a good mechanical car over a bad one, but most women don't and they are very easy prey.................so after my ramble i have to say i agree with the comments of ..............Nothing is for Free and Desperate people will do anything for $$$$................
Ok thats my reply for the year hope i didn't bore anyone...................

i no u lose money on a car but if u keep it for 3 years ull most likely sell the car for more than u owe on it anyway.
unless its like a BA and they just drop dramaticly all the time.

Last car i paid $10k in $100 notes and the rest through a bank cheque. After i got the cash the bank teller cusually says "hope you dont mugged" lol stupid bitch.

For those on a decent wage and looking at new cars salary package your car/lease payments - depending on your wage, type of car, operating costs and km's travelled per year for some poeple its possible to get away with effictively paying nothing (or very little) for their car over the life of the lease.

Thats what i'lll be looking into once I graduate next year :)

lol a mate of mine just bought a BA XR6 too thru a personal loan from CBA (where he works). Has 150,xxx kms on it, paint is immaculate, brakes squeal, auto seems a bit worn with aftermarket 17" wheels, premo sound, rego til Jan for $20,500
I didnt wanna say nothing to him but I reckon that was a terrible mistake. I'd hate to think of the term and repayments he'd be making for it

I paid cash for my XR6. and I used the written off money for that this car :P

Theres a differnce between a loan and a loan/lease.

If I was staying where I was I would of leased a new Falcon or similar and written it all off on Tax.

The most loan I have is a 7500 Limit Credit Card that is usally maxxed out by the 28th day of the month and the 29th I transfer the balance owning onto it lol. Sucks getting paid every month.
