Just a photo.

Postby naz0 » May 22nd, 2008, 9:44 pm

I saw this while at work the other day. I was driving threw Moorabin, it was on the side of a body works place.
I thought it was pretty weird.

Sorry about the photo, it was a quick snap with my phone.

There's a billboard-sized illustration of an EL V8 supercar (kitted GLi look) at a petrol station in Sale, I'll have to get a pic of it sometime soon. Looks awesome :D

why do they have a XR on the wall getting polished?
lets face it there are a lot better cars out there that they could use for advertising other than a EL XR.

Just thought there approach to attracting customers would be to have a more flashy car there.

It's an EF :P

My guess is they opened up shop in 94/95, when the EF XR was a pretty unique looking car, and haven't bothered changing the sign.

Kind of... It's off the highway heading towards Stratty, to the left (near Bond St I think?). Halfway b/w the Lake Guthridge roundabout & the Raglan St roundabout. It's huge!

As far as I'm aware there's only one billboard-sized illustration of an EL V8 Supercar in Sale?

Yep. I know the one. Looks like Seto's old Ford Credit EL but with the wrong sponsor on it (I think it's Carmody's or something)
