Painted airbox on EF

Painted my air box last weekend using etch primer and heat proof paint but she came up great. just remember to always clean it well before painting. lol.

The pics are pretty small...

I reckon if you took off your rocker cover & powdercoated that red, it'd look much better. It's a pretty brilliant red you've got there!

It does look good, but after my ea i dont want to paint anymore plastics because you will regret it :cry:

is that needed on rigid plastics like the engine bay ones?

on any type plastic's riged or smooth need's flexi.

Why did you use etch primer?

I'm gunna high fill the air box lid and engine cover in the EL, and spray them gloss black. That would look sick.

Looks pretty good actually, hopefully it looks the same in a few months

A red or polished rocker cover would look pretty good with it as well :D:D
are you gonna put the box back in or have the pod uncovered

ill probably keep it uncovered for now but iam thinking about putting it in the box wen i get time. i used etch cause the guy at the shop told me too. oops i dint realise it would be a problem. if need be ill sand it back i guess. Meh!! i went for a bright red cause well, it was the only colour available in heat proof at that store. again meh. lol
