Why do toasters always have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat?

I doubt you'd find too many other cars with the old 4.0l in them.
They'd probably drop a long list of other motors in before them.

there is a Daihatsu Feroza with a EF Ghia (Tickford) motor in it on Performance Forums. It's not finished and from what I have read he seems to abandon projects quite frequently. Seems pretty stupid putting a 4.0 into anything non ford.

Not sure if the Hilux engine bay will be long enough. I've seen Holden reds and blacks in them, although they are a bit shorter. You can buy custom bellhousings to fit X-flows to FJ40 Landcruisers. I *THINK* it was from Dellow, certainly not sure on that.

Nissan utes all had Ford I6's in them ;)

What info do you want? Don't bother trying if you can't fabricate mounts etc. Do you have a Rodeo and a Hilux already? What years are they?

Oh, and that setting on the toaster is for cooking crumpets, frozen muffins etc 8-)

in regaruds to hilux, the best conversion by far is a 304i v8 from a a vn-vt, you can buy converison kits for them and the holden v6. Buy a patrol, you can get 4.0l conversion kits for them too, chuck a snort kit on it and yeah you got a pretty powerful 4b. haha

i would do a commowhor conversion but every one has. its going to be a low lux as im in to motor bike and i will be going riding all the time but i don't want to be doing 10kmph the hole way there. patrol wont fit a mx bike. but i could make it in to a ute.... BUT it would be to high and i dont relay want a 4wd.
thanks ed40 for your ideas

so any more ideas any one?

There are 11ty better engines than falcon 6's. Why would you bother.

A proper low lux will shit you up the wall when you take your bikes to the bush. Scraping is fucking gay.

Unless its some half arsed attempt that isnt really low at all I wouldn't bother.

Buy a decent turbo diesel one and keep it standard.

Ideas doesnt have an R in it.

well i ride at tracks more than the bush.

what would you recommend for the conversion?

oh it will be low :) not scraping but still low

i know i know i cant spell to save my life (fixed by the way)

all so you have got me thinking why diesel ? it wall be may every day car as well and the stuff smells like crap.
