Yeah but he had the brakes last year. You can tell he has the brake upgrade with the wheel on. Keep it simple is what I say.

I bet he reads what you guys are saying then gets on here and goes spastic again.

I wish I went now, it looks like it was a good day. I had wisdom teeth out on Friday so was at home being soft.

Ill polish up the maverick and bring it next time.

More Details of this TV show.

And I think CMYWPN couldnt handle critisim of his car.

And in those photos it looks poxy just a car with no wheels on dead grass, and with computer monitors just sitting there.

i studied audio production with a guy who is now a producer of alot of amateur/not top notch automotive shows, most belonging to the ABC/SBS. i mentioned to him that i went to a ford car show on the weekend, and he mentioned he had a crew out there taking footage for a new show. weather it'll be used for stock footage or is part of a segment in a show, i dont know.

either way, we may be on the ABC 8-)

Oh, well I spose I didn't look at his car/take much notice in it, that kind of gear doesn't interest me in the slightest (each to their own). Screens are for loungerooms :P

Far out boys and girls, such absolutely gorgeous cars! They make mine look like a shitbox :(

I was going to quote all my favourite pics, but it would have added another full page to the thread no worries. Yellow ute and the black ED XR8 are fken fantastic, the EF wagon with the black wheels is sick, and all the lovely blown sixes! I'm glad I wasn't there, I would have had to bring a beach towel and keep ducking off to the port-a-loos

This pic, this car, this lighting, awesome. I might be slightly biased though 8-)

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

AFD 09 was the best one I have ever been too. Weather was perfect until the wind picked up later in the day. The display was distributed perfectly... couldn't have been better organised. Well done and thanks to John, Kristy. Pete and Beth for their efforts towards the layout of the display and the car profiles and to anyone else associated in helping. I spent a lot of time walking around with my parents until they went home. It was good to see Dave's EB out for the first time in like 3 years :D Great stuff mate. It looked great
Overall I found it to be an awesome day, both the club layout and cars in general was spot on and majority were clean.
I didn't get any pics due to phone memory being full but the photos so far look neat so bring on more.
A lot of tough cars this year so Judging would have been challenging :D

EDIT:
I also managed to meet the original owner of my car thanks to John so I happy about that and now can find out the history of the car :o
Oh and John Airbag suspension FTW. Looked A1 mate
BRING ON AFD 2010 :D

It was good to see Dave's EB out for the first time in like 3 years

But the EB's been to every AFD since 2003? :|

Oh, regarding the wagons, were there different tailgate spoilers for the respective XR wagons? I had a close look at Phillis' spoiler and EDXRSW's spoiler (fkn love both your wagons) and they looked the same. I could've sworn that I'd seen a small lip spoiler on an ED XR wagon once, rather than the mini-wings that both of you guys had.

me thinks the spoilers on the ED xr6 wag and EF xr6 wag were the same- the only ef xr6 wagons were made in 1994- the last year of the ED. so me thinks they just made the same ones and fitted them on both cars.

my wagon will be turboed for afd next year. touch wood.

dont yell at me, im only 15.

anyway back on topic (kinda) i realised the other day how rare these xr6 spoilers are. i had a guy checking out my car while i was at safeway- he came over to me and offered me $400 for just the spoiler. hmm.

anyway i spoke to my mate today who had the friends filming AFD- middle of this year there wil be a car show aimed at fords, old, new, past, present ect to be aired on the ABC. the guys were at AFD taking footage to be used as the intro of the show. i smell amateur TV...

Your right the rear spoilers are hard to find , thats why i have a mould of it, the one on waghoonef is a fibreglass one of mine, so is the bulge, supplied by me and fitted by him (very good job to)
ED & EF xr wagons had the same spoiler

I think that there should be more wagons there next year. Some one do a boosted wagon now that would go down well.

Thats my plan for this year  so I am in need of parts ;)

i'm not too concerned about boosted cars.
we have heaps, we will have more.

i was quite impressed by the non-boosted cars this year.
