OLd school generation hating on boosted 6`s why ?

My parents didnt really care about what I did with the EL, Dad was kinda looking forward to seeing how it came along, everyone he talked to knew about the turbo EL his son was building. Just a shame he never got to see it running.

my dad grew up with holden 186 motors in the 50s

3 on the tree, real old school with a few hundrer horses if ya lucky,

he thinks spending money on cars is a waste and i should be buying a house

turbo's are cheap(er) bolt on power.
takes alot more money to get a n/a car going as quick as a boosted one everyday of the week.
