They use a machine to test the windows so you wont get away with it. I got the exact same defect 12 months ago, I had un-tinted spare glass in the shed, took about ten minutes to swap them into it and another ten minutes to swap it back after I had it cleared, easy.

You need a chrome diff cover and a yellow swaybar to complete the 80s spec look :P

Yeah it passed. They didnt check the tint lol. Chick cracked up when she saw it, it was hilarious.

This was the second time i got done for ground clearance, no issues there.

I'm keeping it as is until i can afford to replace my rear koni's because they're fucked. $346 for a rear pair is the best price i've been quoted, which is fucking cheap!

$150 each was the best price for rebuild. better off getting them new.

I got defected for stockies on the rear (lol) and window tint 2 dark while i was away on holiday and my car was in the airport carpark (c***'s) I explained my situation to a mechanic and he said **** em that bullshit ill sign you up. And even tested the tint and it was legal anyway. So i took the blue slip or whatever it was to the RTA and the woman was like sweet. all good. Unless its a major defect im sure there is no need for Vicroads of whoever to run the car
