I think the point of making the P platers with reds change to Greens is because that is the way it works in NSW, otherwise it could lead to problems for the cops when pulling people over. "I've been in NSW all week where the plates are the other way around and I forgot to change em bacK" possibly? I dunno just my thoughts lol.

other then the fact even if that was so you wouldent change them. beacause ya still go by your states law in relation to plates etc.

ok i live on the boarder and go into nsw all the time without changing my driving habbits (ie i do 110 in 110 zones). when a nsw p plater (who is speed restricted, 90 for red, 100 for green) crosses into vic, they are no longer speed restricted aswell as passenger restrictions after 11pm for red nsw p platers

Doesnt effect me so i dont really car about it. Laughed at my GF's brother though. He's got them. Cartz you havent had your license long have you? You might be in the same situation as kester and not even be on green ones yet.

fair sure anyone with license at all at the moment is on greens.
the new system only starts at the end of this month
so anyone that gets their license after the end of this months will go on reds.
there for kester should be on greens to.

Ahh ok, the way i took it was if you'd had your license for less than a year then you'd still be on reds. Guess kester will be able to tell us if he doesnt get his in the next few days.

uno y all this has come about?
coz ppl duno how to drive. an no1 teaches them the general idea of basic car control
they teach them how to move forward/back/left/right/stop
if u can do that without making it look like ur not guna hit any1....they give u a license....
then they wonder y 19yos wright themselves off with a carload of mates.
coz all these kids no is need for speed/burnout/midnight club.....and the worst thing about that is games cant replicate g-force, the the kids cant tell wat the body in the game does as in realtion to the feeling they get in thier car...hence the old "jump on the brakes and hope for the best" technique wen shit hits the fan.

onli round bumkin areas like up the hume/out past pakenham/over geelong way an way down towards sth gippsland...

my green plates got send to my parents house in shepp but dad has sent em on.... like he said to me, its not weather we like the rules or how good or bad they are, we still have to obey them.
also i use a 110 zone 3 - 10 times a week (personal and work) and so do many ppl around this area aswell as glenrowan, wangaratta, benalla areas just to name a couple

the reason they gave us p platers the green ones is because when were off our ps there will only be red ps again if the new p platers got green then when we all get our full everyone will be green so the green plates are only around for a two to three years

my boss had a chat to vicroads and if he's in the car with me i dont need an expemtion, but to drive it by myself i have to have one so no more XR6T for me wich is gay!
