hmmmmm I'm still undecided on whether I really like the FG. From those pics the cluster definitely looks pov pack like it was pulled from a older model Hi-Lux (with the blue dials). The wheels are terrible. The turbo outlet pipe looks like an afterthought. The center dash unit looks 11ty times harder to use than a BA/BF. Why replace dials with buttons??? And the under bonnet heat shield just looks shit plain and simple.

Until I see one up close I'll decide but just going on looks, at the moment I'd probably lean towards a VE, however I wasn't that impressed with the fit and finish of the VE.....seemed a bit cheap. If only the TRD Aurion was RWD and a bit cheaper.

I can't wait to check out the new F6 when it hits the dealerships soon.

For anyone interested I enquired about pricing for the turbo models at the time that I took those pics...

XR6T = $50,000 drive away
G6E Turbo = $64,000 drive away
F6 = $74,000 drive away

In the end if you want a fast and powerful car but don't give a fark for having a newer car then you can build an e-series to smash any of those for only $25,000 to $30,000.

If you need to have a newer car then the FG turbo models are awesome. I'm in love with all three of them... But I'm glad I can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on a car though. It's not worth it in the big scheme of things.

BF TYPHOON is the ultimate wrapper for the I6 in my opinion. Slick and elegant inside and out. The interior of the new FG is a bloody abortion, the centre dash cluster has that in your face AU feel to it. While the side moulds/lines in the sheetmetal just looks plain SLOPPY next to a VE and this is coming from someone who drives an AU :lol:
