How long have you been with E-Series club / forums for?

I would of said around june 2008 if I guessed...

Nope, it's an ex-taxi that's been resprayed. It's not the original yellow, but if you look at the engine bay, the original paint's still there.

I was only joking about the one-off, pretty sure thats what he was telling people.

Most of the cars in the pics have either gone to the scrapheap or theyve gone onto bigger and better things.

According to FF i joined up in Jan 2005...
My first meet/cruise was GOR 2006. Spied my car in one of Petes' pics...
Poly ED Futura slammed on black stockies, doesnt get any more 2006 than that.
My first post was questioning prices regarding an AU engine conversion and diff gears i found for sale. Was sick of the powah (lack of) already!

I've been around since pretty much the start. I posted a few things under a guest account when there was only about 7 or 8 members, but I didn't sign up properly and become really active until a few months later when I bought my EA from my Dad.

I've got ALL of the pictures from ALL of the early meets on my other computer (I used to even save other people's pics), I'll post some up later on...

I remember joining Ford.i8 around mid 2001. It was just one single forum with events (of which there was like 1 in 1 year, with CAA), for sale items, tech, and general. It was a free board with ads and shiz too lol.

Jack used to have feedback from EA owners in another section of the site too. He had a asian dude write to him saying that he things the EA is a fantastic car or some crap lol.

When I did work experience in year 10 in engineering at Ford (a year before BA was released), I showed some of the engineers there Jack's site. They laughed at it and asked why anyone would dedicate a site to one of the worst Falcons. I told Jack, I still remember he was highly offended :roll:

Yep. Bass Crazy was a active member of both forums and invited the EA forum guys along. I think Ash went to that. There's a few photos of that floating around somewhere too.

Yep the good old days... I was a member for a few years 1999-2001 perhaps? Had a few sound-off cars. Back when Autosalon was at the showgrounds. Used to have meets at the Vicroads place near the westgate, bundoora park?, pier 30 something.. God i feel old. I see 'shiny_car' is still ivolved over there. I can remember dcstraight too.
