Exactly. Definitely more fashion statement than function.

I have one pullover, but its so filthy I'd be ashamed to drive anywhere with it on :D

dont mechanics wear overalls? and take them off at the end of the day? and theres handwash...

dont see the point in keeping a seat mint if its gonna be forever hidden under a cover. your basically keeping it mint for the next **** that owns it.

you can clean seats too... get it dirty, clean it...

um not all mechanics wear overalls. stuck in the 90's or something. In dealerships they try to make everything looks nice. even the mechanics

Sorry about bringing up the throwover topic.
My opinion still stands tho but you're right, not many dealerships run overalls anymore.
I just think they look stupid in otherwise nice cars with 4 blokes in white Kappa tracksuits pumping tunes and being hektik in their Statto or BA.

I still don't get the number plate thing on the windscreen tho.
Are they too pov to assign the plates to the car or is it like a memorial to their old car that got repo'd? Or if his mate loses his license he pops it up whilst he's chillin in the passenger seat pretending he's driving?

the number plates in the window thing i dont get, IF there real licence plates, that would be stupid, as far as i'm aware everyone i know has the "novelty" plates off ebay. which are illegal to register on your car, i guess its just another trend going around. which i am NOT following.

and brenton, grease and oil is not that hard to get out of seats. if detailing chemicals fail, good old fashioned degreaser works. as long as the seat doesn't get physically damaged anything can be cleaned out of the fabric.

I've seen a lot of legit ones with VIC on them in windows.
Just has me puzzled.

Some filthy oaf of a mechanic took my car for a test after work had been done and remorselessly ground sludge and grease into my mats. Never came out. I tried nothing and i'm all out of ideas.

Sterling, I bought new rims (those ones you saw on facebook) and one appeared to be buckled and I had a fit. Turned out to be a screw in the brake sticking out too far and it's all fixed now :)

Cheers mate. Na actually i'm getting a bulge soon. Gonna rivet it into a second hand bonnet, fill it and get some mustard to paint it. After the gauges are relocated then we'll be in business.
