Speaking of appologies, did anyone appologise to the resident that made the complaint? Prehaps it may be an idea to write a letter or make a phone call, to tell them that the member in question has since been kicked out of the club, as this sort of behaviour is not tollerated. Otherwise if the resident is a complete arsehat, they may make a complaint about the entire club to the police.

We don't care about burnouts, as long as they're done at the right spot at the right time, and that's not at a meet point at a cruise.

To make this clear about where the other skids happened. Here is that meet point. Behind where the photographer was standing is about 1km of similar road.

I wasnt saying were all for skids at meets. Was just pointing out where the other skids happened and the reason why it was more acceptable there than the last meet point. If people are going to do them on a cruise, best option would be where there is no chance of damaging property, be it someone elses car, people or house. Im sure Terry will be in contact with him for doing that so close to his kids.

The other thing I don't understand is why there was a meet point on a nature strip out the front of a residential area? Parking on the grass always attracts the 3 speed 3.2 CFI spec sideways action hoons... that should've been thought of before the organisers decided to stop there for some happy snaps - especially with the amount of newbies we have these days.

The meet was along the inlet, heaps of grass for photos of the cars. There just happens to be some very expensive houses on the other side of the road overlooking the water. It was the last meet point and we were pretty sure that no one would be so stupid after a pretty good run for the whole day prior. Im happy to take that on board if I organise another cruise. I had been there before with BeastClub/Autoindulgence without a problem - 30 hi-po cars and not one of them did anything silly, a few doses, but no skids.

I agree that either a letter of apology or in person to whoever had there lawn damaged would be a good idea, I know the name of the road, but not the house number. Its Beach Road, Rhyll if someone wants to fill in the blanks and let BT know. If that is done, I dont see why he cant be allowed back in the club with maybe a 3 month suspended sentence?

Ok as the father of the children at the cruise what turtle did was stupid. Ripping a skid near kids,people, cars & in a residentual area at a meet point. The way & the speed the arse end of his car flung sideways, if there had been a gutter there his diff would probably still be sitting there in the gutter. Or worse he could of totally lost it & hit one of us as where he let loose wouldn't have been any more then 2meters from where we were standing. No matter how good of a driver u think u are accidents still happen cars & driving conditions can be so unpredictable as we seen with brocky earlier in the day. As for turtle been banned, by the sound of it he was just gonna get a kick in the ass & a warning but he arched up & made threats so it is at the moderators descression to decide what actions to take. EFFalcon & crew have made this club for all of us to enjoy so we should respect it & not burn it doing stupid shit only makes it look bad for us all.

That's like apologising to the general public that don't like the sound of a 2.5" exhaust at 5000rpms in 1st (T5), technically both illegal by authorities.
With the member of the public gesturing the driver to slow down, technically not speeding (60 zone) but scares the shit out of the residents that believe your doing 100+!

All I am saying is that I thought it wasn't intentional and that he was blogged and had to accelerate to get out of the mess he was in. As for the fish tailing on the road around the kids thats not a smart thing to do and unacceptable behavior I agree but not ban able IMO. We have all done it before and some did on the cruise but in a more suitable place. I agree action needs to be taken accordingly. I am just expressing my opinions just like everyone else. He was banned for making threats towards the club (if we were to pass on details to the Police, he would reciprocate & drag down the club's name), and towards individuals (Steady for example).

He isn't a smart-mouthed prick, he's just a guy who doesn't think before he acts, & as a result has fvkced up. He's genuinely sorry about his actions & regrets them. This thread is a warning for other users, if you mess up on a cruise you'll either have a thread like this made with your name in it, or you'll get banned if you follow up with threats (or do exactly the same thing at the next cruise).
