ive seen something like this before, i cant for the life of me understand why you would do it.

seems like someone told him hot air is less dense therefore easier for the engine to breath. or perhaps bcos hot air rises its a ram air

nah its gone from 4.0 to 4.1 bcos after 388,000 kms the pistons have honed the cylinders out a bit lol

Theres plenty to be had... it just costs more then a 6

on an eseries V8, manifold/heads/headers

AU V8's are a much nicer start point.

well kinda makes sense.
its a similar story for the earlier commodores.
the bottom ends remained very similar if not the same, but the heads and manifolds changed.
but this is going from the carby engines to the EFI...so obviously a few other changes were made externally
