Phone Rage

Postby TUFED6 » July 17th, 2007, 1:54 pm

So I'm a bit bored at work here today. The other day my phone pissed me off for the last time. Stupid Sony jokstick thingo was fcuken up half the time. After an extreme acceleration/deceleration test and subsequent manual durability test this is how it pulled up.

Looks like a painful ending for the phone.

There's no such thing as a good phone. Every phone I've ever had has had dramas in some way, shape or form.

My old phone copped that. 5140 or whatever the tradie phone was. Absolute POS. You'd think a 'tough' phone would last the 24 months of the contract. Certainly didn't survive getting pegged into a concrete slab.

i've never had any problem with any of my phones. I tend to drop them a lot too. Currently have a Sony 610i which I dropped in the toilet a few weeks ago (don't ask) sat infront of the heater for a while and it's good as new.

Nokia 3210 FTW. I miss Snake. :(

I got a nokia 6288 and its a POS, the screen is buggered and has a mind of its own, sometimes the picture will go upside down, then it'll go completely black then it'll go all rainbow colour styles. Waiting for a new one now, best phone i've had would have to be the nokia 8310 i had or 3310 because you can just drop them and know they'll keep on working. Oldschool phones had a way better battery life too which i liked :(

Yeah I've gone back to my SE T68i. Old school but it never fcuks up. I'm pretty clumsy with phones so I guess fancy phones aren't for me... and the monotone cracks me up, <3 the mexican hat dance song :D

You've had better luck than me. I've had my V3x for less than a year and it's fukt. Keeps turning off for no reason, usually just after you send a text, so the text doesn't send, you don't realise, then 2 hours later you wonder why you haven't got a reply...then you notice the phone is off, have to restart it (which takes MFing ages!) then write the text again which takes FOREVER because the SKROtorolla predictive text software is ANTI user friendly, or you give up and ring them and they can't hear you because the phone is busted and then it turns off halfway through the phone call!!! FUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKK!!!!!!!!

I took it in to a telstra shop to get fixed and they told me to buy a new phone because the V3x was, and I quote "Possibly the worst phone ever produced"

Kents. Early nokias FTMFW. Could drop them heaps, put them back together and they would still work, and you could type and send an entire text without even looking at the screen because you could memorise the predictive text options. *sgh*

So I need another phone too. Does nokia have any good ones?

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

I had trouble with my motorola the first month I got it! Its one of those pink flip open ones. I wasnt getting reception at all. Took it in and apparently the arial was broken so they gave me a loan phone, fixed it at no charge. The screen goes black occaissonally when taking pics, apart from that I have had Nokias and had no trouble!

From what i have heard Motorolla's are the most returned phones from problems.

I just got rid of my lg phone and bought a nokia 6288. Its VERY easy to use and i havent had any problems yet.

Thats how pretty much all my phones end up, i now have this black nokia phone and so far i have only broken one of them (i mean really, who would have thought putting a phone through the washing machine would kill it). I really do hate phones.

Haha Yeah I know someone who has been good with that. One phone went through washing machine, the other in the spa which survived until he took it surfing! I knocked my phone off the roof of the car, few dents and scratches later and its still in one piece luckily.

That's tha MF shiznit phone I want but can't justify the cash that I could spend on turbo gear. I've had an N90 for almost 2 years and had a few problems with it. Firmware upgrades tend to solve most problems though. I reckon Nokias are the shit, just not the first model of a series like my last 2 (first camera phone - 7650 - PITA sometimes).
